What is ABHA Card?
The ABHA Card, also known as the Health ID Card, is a digital identity for individuals in India’s healthcare ecosystem. It allows you to securely store and share your medical records with healthcare providers, ensuring hassle-free access to healthcare services.
With an ABHA Card, you can manage your health records digitally, access telemedicine services, and connect to a vast network of healthcare facilities across the country.
Each ABHA Card contains a unique 14-digit identification number that links your health records across healthcare providers, making it easier to access and manage your medical information anytime, anywhere.
Steps to Create ABHA Card
- Go to the official ABHA website and click 'Create ABHA number'.
- Choose to use either your Aadhaar card or driver's license, then click 'Next'.
- Enter your Aadhaar or license number, whichever you picked. Read the declaration carefully.
- Select 'I agree' to the declaration and enter the one-time passcode sent to your registered mobile number.
- Click 'Submit'. This will successfully create your ABHA identity card.
How to Download ABHA Card
To download your ABHA card online, visit the official ABHA portal at https://abdm.gov.in/. Log in to your ABHA account and download your ABHA card easily from the portal.
Alternatively, you can use the ABHA mobile app. If you haven't installed it yet, Android users can download it directly from the Play Store. Once installed, log in to your ABHA account and download your ABHA card on the go.
